I am still here!!!

Well I guess it's pretty obvious that I have been neglecting my blog! Believe it or not, I do still come daily and read everyone else's but haven't posted anything. I have added so many other blogs to my list that I check daily, by the time I get done reading, hours later, I'm pooped!

Well we made our visit to see Santa and just as I expected, my child was not very fond of him. I tried to explain to him that this is the Big Jolly Fella that comes in a sleigh, with a cute red nose reindeer guiding the way, and is going to leave lots of presents under the tree for him. He didn't care..........He was more interested in heading back up the Sears to look at the lawnmowers!

So I threatened him.......Get you picture with Santa or I'm not taking you to see the mowers!!!! That didn't work........Here is our first take.....

So I beg him, please please just sit one minute and I promise we'll go see the mowers at Sears. Here is the 2nd take.......

Are you seeing the path here?? He doesn't like Santa and wants no part of him!! So again I beg and plead......Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee Pleaseeeeeeeeeeee and I spot, under the Christmas Tree next to Santa, a wooden truck with a puppy in it. I pull it over and say, well would you look at this! And I get his attention .......he gets down on his knees and starts playing. So I say to the girl, the minute I run, SNAP THE PICTURE......after a few takes, we FINALLY get a decent picture. So with that said, this is our Christmas Card pictures this year!

So he's not sitting on Santa's lap but Santa is in the picture right? And that is all that counts.....
