Ok, so I'm testing out these new template things. I really have no idea what I'm doing and deleted "widgets"......what the heck are widgets?? Do they have anything to do with the little pictures I had on my sidebar cause they are gone now. Tooooooo late now!
I need to read more about this stuff and experiment without really screwing up my blog because I no idea in the world how to fix it!
Well it's late and my head hurts so more tomorrow!

Mommy Surprise
I have debated on whether or not to post this and have decided that there has to be other mommy's out there that will understand this post completely! WARNING: If you are sqeemish, stop reading right now!
Last Saturday afternoon/evening, we went to church as normal. Now we always sit in the front first few rows. My father in law is a canary in the choir so we are active members. Active members sit in the front rows.
Well anyways, we arrive and sit in the front. Grandma and Great Grandma are directly behind us (good thing)
Suddenly, I get this ........not so nice odor
I look around, who in the world made this terrible odor.......
I'm thinking to myself.......geesh, why did we have to sit right HERE, if I have to sniff this thru the entire mass!
Then it would fade......and come back........fade.....
Daddy P leans over and says, "What is that odor"?
I whisper, "I have no idea but I smell it for the rest of mass I'm going to die, it's disgusting!"
Daddy P says, "I think it's him"....pointing to my sweet little Baby P
"Noooooooooo, I don't think so I say".........
"Check his diaper".........
So I discreetly try and look in the back of his diaper (good thing inlaws are behind us!)
I can't see because...one, I'm trying to be discreet and two, he has on the cutest little jeans....they are fitting and won't let me "peek"
So I try and slide my hand down the back of his pants to try and pull the back out alittle so I can look.........
OMG.....ok so I know it's church but still.....OMG.
It IS him and I slid down alittle to far and OMG.......So I casually try and wipe my fingers off IN THE DIAPER and be discreet but FAST
I look at Daddy D........"As soon as we stand, give me the diaper bag, it's HIM"
I pick him up, grab the bag and now because we are active members and sit in the FRONT seat, I must walk down the center isle with a lovely smelling child.
It felt like all eyes were on me (which they probably were) and it was the longest walk of my life. I am sweating and I feel like my face is on fire.
So we go down to the bathroom and there is no place for him to lay down. GREAT!
I say...."Baby, please cooperate with mommy, ok?" I need you to cooperate with me!"
He looks scared, LOL (he's only 2!) Shakes his head yes..
So I pull his pants down and it's messy people! So I say, "Baby, bend over mommy's leg" So he does LOL thank god he cooperates when I need him too. So I get him all wiped up. The whole time poor child stood there........scared........must have been the panic in mommy's voice.
I get a nice, clean, fresh diaper on him and off we go.
Back to our seat, in the front row. The walk back was much easier.
Amen.
I have to say this was the 1st bad experience I had like this in his almost 2 years. I should be thankful.........and I was, and I was also in the perfect spot to be thankful!

Responsibility
I love this child more then I ever thought was possible. I still sometimes overwhelm myself with the thought of raising him. In the sense of teaching him everything I can to grow up to be to a polite, respectable, loving, compassionate person. What an incredible responsibility.
I tell him “I Love you baby” more times than I can count in a day. He just shakes his head yes and smiles. He now says, Lub you mama” LOL……..I could just squeeze him to death!
All I can do is teach him the best I can. But there is so many things I wonder about…….
Is he eating enough?
Is he eating to much?
Does he feel good?
Is he tired?
Does his belly hurt?
Is his nose stuffy?
Is he tired?
Am I teaching him manners?
Do I hug him enough?
Do I hug him to much?
Do I explain enough things to him?
Do I explain to much?
Is he hot?
Is he cold?
And a million other thoughts………..
I think some of these thoughts will stay with me for as long as I am alive and others will go away once he can communicate better and let me know by actually talking and telling me things. Right now, at his age, it’s a guessing game.
A game I hope to win more than anything.
Does the worrying and wondering really ever go away??

Pampers Pay Off
When my son was about 3 months, I joined the "Gifts to Grow" program that Pampers offers. Each time you bought a pack of diapers, they hid a little sticky label inside the package with numbers on it. You entered those numbers on their site and you could redeem gifts for the points that you earned. I kept adding to the points never knowing what to get. Well I accumulated enough points to get this!!!

Now your probably thinking, Wow! That is great! Well let me tell you what a great deal I got.........
It took me 98 packs of diapers - I normally buy my diapers at Sam's Club where 2 packs come in a box
That's 49 boxes of diapers
Each box is around $35.00
$35.00 x 49 boxes = $1,715.00
What a deal huh??? And to think I could have bought this bike outright for $149.99.......

A New Year!
My New Year Resolution is to actually try and keep my blog updated and post more often. We'll see how that goes! Anyways, we had a nice Christmas. Paul actually enjoyed it more than I thought he would. It was fun to see him get excited over his presents and open them on his own. Out of all his gifts, "Scoop" from Bob the Builder was the winner!
Grandma and Pop got him his own Recliner which he also seems to enjoy!
While visting our local mall, we came across our all time Idol "Bob the Builder" himself! Well we couldn't just pass him without getting our picture with him. Please pardon the "smile"......it's new, when I ask him to smile for a picture, that is the smile I get, charming isn't it?
Here's another charming smile!
