Normally I am a pretty passive person......for the most part.
BUT there are certain things that just get under my skin at certain times :-) that just bother the heck out of me!
The other day we went to McDonalds drive thru........placed our order and drove to the pickup window. The girl hands us the order and as we are driving away, I always frantically look thru the bag real quick to make sure we got everything we ordered.
Me: Geeeeeeeez they didn't give us an order of fries! THERES ONLY ONE IN THE BAG - PULL OVER!
Hubby: Geeeeeeez
I get out of the car and march in Micky D's.........there is a guy standing waiting for his order and I look at him rolling my eyes.
I get to the counter and here is how the conversation goes.......
Girl: Can I help you?
Me: Yea (tossing the bag on the counter) We just came thru the drive thru and only got one order of fries and we ordered two!
Girl: (Grabs the bag and looks in it) Sorry (rather snotty)
Me: Geez how difficult is it to read a ticket and fill an order???
Girl: Sorry (snotty again) We were alittle busy
Me: Well it doesn't take a rocket scientist to fill an order
Girl: (Kinda tosses the bag back on the counter - With my order of fries in it)
Me: (Grabs the bag (snottily) and walks out)
Ok so it was just a teenager trying to earn her $5.00/hr BUT STILL - You have to have SOME pride in what you do, don't ya?
Maybe I won't go back to McDonalds anymore, I'll see how many rocket scientist work at BURGER KING!

My husband manages a pizza hut and he was just saying that none of the employees care. I really think that it has something to do with the age of the employees. To them its just a way to make a few extra bucks and they don't intend on staying in that job long. Sucks for the customers
It happens to me all the time at the drive though, so if we do go to a fast food place we go inside. We never seem to have a problem getting everything when going inside. See people cars drive away and 9 times out of 10 people don't came back. But if your firmly planted inside, you will get better service.
