Time Flies

In less than 2 weeks, my little baby will be turning 2 years old. Where does the time go? I never believed people when they said that time will go by so fast. How right they were. I enjoy him more and more each day. He is finally starting to talk so much that each day is sometime new. Something new that he says or does and I look forward to it so much. This year I asked him who he wanted on his birthday cake and he said "Mommy" .........awww LOL well melt my heart! So I printed out pictures on the internet of Thomas the Train, Barney, Bob the Builder and a Tractor. He wants Thomas on his cake, so Thomas it is. Now mind you, I am no cake making wizard BUT I am going to give it a try. I bought everything I'm going to need to tackle this cake. I will have to post a picture of my final masterpiece. So then I asked him "What do you want for your birthday?" He said..."Presents" LOL I guess he likes "presents" in general and doesn't care what it is as long as it's a "present". I actually think he just likes to unwrap them. So I said, Ok presents but what else? He said "surprises" LOL So this year, he will receive both "Presents and Surprises" for his birthday!

Happy Birthday to your little sweetie. That is too cute what he said. It does fly by that is for sure. I can tell that you are not taking it for grated.
If you need any help with the cake, cake central is a great website. Also, the wilton yearbooks are good too. You can get them at walmart in the cake decorating section. If you can find some figurines you could just put those on top of the cake and do a simple colored border. If you need any help you can always ask me too. :)
